Within this article today on student credit card apply online, we will look at a couple of different cards that will benefit show for those of you who are working towards your degree. Whenever you are looking at getting a credit card though, there are certain factors that you should way, no matter what type of card it is.

These factors are: interest rate, security, rewards, and any annual fees. The interest-rate is important because if you carry a balance every month you are going to be paying a certain amount of interest. This is often calculated by the number of days that the credit card cycle runs times the annual percentage rate. This can often be confusing so if you have a question about this, make sure to call and ask the credit card company before you apply for the credit card. Often if you are late this can cause you a late fee of somewhere between 30 and $40. Secondly, make sure that there is good security for the cards or some sort of fraud happens, you are not held liable and it is investigated immediately. There are many cards without annual fees and some of these have rewards so try and find something that will benefit you for using the card without you having to pay for it.

Here is a website that we would like you to use that caters towards students in offers credit cards for them: http://www.creditcards.com/college-students.php. There are many different choices of credit cards for you here so see which type of reward works best for you. You may not be home that often where you go talk to someone about the card and this will allow you to log on at any point to check out your card and balances. Students' lives can be very hectic so allowing you to take care of your financial life at any point during the day is something that will be of great benefit to you.

From what I've read and experienced, these are the top 5 ways to keep credit cards from draining financial life blood - do you agree?

1. Pay off the entire amount owed ever month. Interest rates seem to change quickly, sometimes only with notice in the fine print. If I pay interest it is like paying way too much for the purchase.

2. Read their statement every month; call and question any suspicious charges by merchants OR by the credit card company. One of their services is to investigate my questions, let them do it and dispute with merchants I don't owe.

3. Ask for a waiver of annual fees or late charges (if you're a good customer). If you get a no, ask for a supervisor.

4. Unless you absolutely must, don't sign up for any recurring charges with merchants - they have a tendency to want to take things on.

5. Check your credit rating - see what the credit organization reports about you and if it is bad, call, threaten to cancel the card and tell them why.

Are these the top 5?

It is a record of all your past financial commitments and contains information about your repayment reliability and the total amount of debt you're carrying. Banks and other lenders look at this record to determine your credit worthiness, usually by assigning you a credit score. The lower your credit score the less likely a lender is to underwrite your loan. How Did I Get A Bad Credit History?Your credit history is an ongoing compilation of information about you, so anytime you make a late payment or miss a payment it is captured in the file. Likewise, if you have ever defaulted on a debt or otherwise failed to fulfil a financial contract it will show up in your credit history.Credit reference agencies collect other information about you, such as changes in employment or address. If your record shows that you make such changes frequently this will also lower your credit score. Will I Ever Qualify For A Loan?Yes, most people with bad credit will be able to qualify for some type of loan but usually with some restrictions and limitations. There are numerous lenders who focus specifically on loans for people with bad credit so don't give up. Just keep in mind that you will probably be charged a higher interest and offered a lower loan amount. The positive part of this is that once you've secured the loan you can start repairing your bad credit history by making regular, on-time payments. It happens slowly, but over time your credit history will show improvement. What Type Of Loan Can I Get?There are two types of loans available to you if you have poor credit ? unsecured and secured. Unsecured loans are more difficult to get because you don't put up collateral as security for the loan. This is risky for the lender so expect them to require more stringent loan terms in this situation.Secured loans, on the other hand, require you to provide some form of asset as collateral. Most of the time this means you will secure the loan with your house. The amount of money you can borrow and the interest rate you will pay are influenced by your credit history, your total amount of debt, and your home's value. Different lenders weight these items different ways, so be sure to check with several to find one with a program suited for you.I Have Bad Credit ? Where Can I Find A Loan? Before you submit any loan applications, gather some information from several potential lenders. Find out about their interest rates, any special loan terms they may require, and any other specifics about their loan process. One word of warning ? researching lenders is different than actually submitting loan applications. You can do all the research you want, but be careful not to submit a large number of loan applications over a short time period. This kind of activity can actually damage your credit history further. Another option is to contact an independent loan broker to help you find appropriate lenders and loan programs.Other Resources For Finding Bad Credit LoansOne of the most popular resources for researching bad credit loans is the Internet. Almost all lenders have web sites that provide guidelines and information about their loan programs for people with bad credit, and some even offer online application processes. As noted above, though, don't fill out large numbers of applications or you may damage your credit rating further. This article may be freely distributed providing the link remains intact. For Online Loans | Home Loans Please visit us at http://www.1st-onlineloans.com

Given this situation, it can be hard to find a no annual fee card, but they do exist if you are willing to put the effort in to contacting the credit card companies either by phone or through their websites to inquire about cards that have no fees. Typically, though, if a credit card company is unwilling to waive their annual fee, they may be willing to substitute a fixed interest rate instead -- many often opt for this trade-off if they are unable to find a card that suits them. However, for those that are seeking credit, paying a yearly fee -- which can range anywhere from $30 to as high as $300 in some cases -- does not sit well with them, especially if the APR (annual percentage rate) is non-negotiable and variable rather than fixed. The idea of paying the credit card company money to use their card and then be charged interest on top of that just seems like a waste of money to most people and they will continue shopping around until they find the no annual fee card they are looking for. Some credit card companies actually recognize this trait among consumers and will not charge a yearly fee based on whether or not the competition is doing so, but if they do not charge a yearly fee, keep a close eye on your APR as the credit card company may make up for the loss of annual fee money by arbitrarily raising your interest rate, especially if you often carry a balance. Keep in mind when searching for and comparing credit cards, that often the no annual fee card and the cards with the lowest interest rates are often reserved for those with a higher than average credit score. By offering no annual fee and a lower APR credit card companies choose to reward those customers who regularly pay their bills on time. If your credit is less than perfect, you can still find a credit card that does not charge an annual fee, it will just take some time an effort on your part to do so. You can get hold of the cash quickly without any of the additional stress. The loan amount will directly submit in your account without giving you any type of discomfort to visit here and there for the money. These are small and unsecured by nature which does not demand any collateral to secure. Through payday loans, the borrowers can apply for a small loan amount ranging between £100 to £1500.
